FEMME FERAL

When women reassert their relationship with the wildish nature, they are gifted with a permanent and internal watcher, a knower, a visionary, an oracle, an inspiratrice, an intuitive, a maker, a creator, an inventor, and a listener who guide, suggest, and urge vibrant life in the inner and outer world.

I so appreciate the empathy and presence Mary brings to the work, her brilliance, her willingness to be in the unknown and stay with the process.

Welcome!

I am a somatic embodiment practitioner committed to stewarding freedom, sovereignty and pleasure into the world. My life as an artist, writer, yogi, mother and woman informs my unique, one of a kind approach to supporting clients and groups through deep transformative work.

I’ve studied throughout the world, incorporating a myriad of modalities, philosophies and trainings into this work. I have a Master’s Degree and a few certificates, but what’s most relevant to me here is the lived experience I've had in the learning and relearning to say YES to the fullest expression of my natural self.

What sounds like a flowery self-help instagram post, saying "yes to myself,” has really been the gnarliest, most harrowing and wild unfolding. Because saying YES to all of myself means not just dancing around embracing my expansive, joyous heart--it also means confronting the darkest, ugliest part of my shadow--looking her in the eye, feeling her rage and terror. She was the part of me who most needed to hear YES. The part I most rejected, the part I showed no one, not even myself. Learning to hold her with my non-shaming heart was the key that opened me to the oceans of freedom, pleasure and radical aliveness waiting on the other side of all that fear. The clarity and power of that liberation is what inspires me to work with clients and groups.

Here’s some of my experience and training informing my work:

The Radical Aliveness Institute, Core Energetics, BioEnergetics, Deep Nature Connection, TRE (Trauma Release Exercises), The Sweet Medicine Sundance Tribe, Yogarupa Rod Stryker, Tantric (Sri Vidya), Ashtanga and Kundalini yoga, sacred sexuality, creative consulting and counseling.

My work with clients and groups is highly adaptive and highly dynamic. I look forward to hearing more about your heart’s wildest desires.

I have never felt so comfortable being uncomfortable in a group of people, and I think I began to scratch the surface of the wild parts I didn’t even know I had.

We all begin the process before we are ready, before we are strong enough, before we know enough; we begin a dialogue with thoughts and feelings that both tickle and thunder within us. We respond before we know how to speak the language, before we know all the answers, and before we know exactly to whom we are speaking.
